Simon Cowell has said he is behind Cheryl and is supporting her through this tough time. At an Oscars party last night he told press:

‘She’s a friend and you’re always going to be there for friends. She’s going through a hard time, but you know, she’s a strong girl. I’ve been in touch and I’m there for her. You’ve got to do what feels right for you.’

A more unlikely person to lend her support to Cheryl – and publicly – is Victoria Beckham. The two have barely spoken since the 2006 World Cup and haven’t exactly been on nice terms. But last night Victoria said the following:

‘I support Cheryl 100 per cent. I have not spoken to her, but I’m always there for her. I’m behind her – I feel for anyone going through a tough time.’

Cheryl’s brother Andrew has spoken out about the way his younger sister has been treated by Ashley Cole – and he’s not happy!

According to the Daily Mirror, he said: ‘I know women throw themselves at footballers all the time but that’s no excuse.

He’s a weak, weak, weak man for not being able to resist.’

‘The public humiliation makes it 10 times worse, but for her not being able to start a family is the hardest part.’

Cheryl Cole is being lined up to tell all in a televised interview with Piers Morgan.

The newly single singer had been due to appear on Jonathan Ross’s BBC1 chat show but pulled out just a week before.

‘Cheryl will probably sing on Jonathan Ross but will not do an interview,’ a TV insider told the Mail On Sunday. ‘Simon Cowell has told her she should give the sit-down chat to Piers. She wants the dust to settle a bit before she does it, though.’

Cheryl (I don’t know whether to write Cole or Tweedy anymore, so she’s going to have to be surname-less for now lol) arrived back in London yesterday. She was pictured making her way through Heathrow airport. She was covering up her mouth some of the time, which of course led the papers to suspect lip injections and various other things. But judging from pictures from her time in Denmark, it looks as though it’s just a cold sore. Check out more candids after the jump!

Here’s Cheryl’s performance from earlier tonight. She performed Fight For This Love on the Danish version of The X Factor. After her performance she is interviewed for a little bit. She’s asked about what advice she would give to the final 6 contestants. She’s super cute and seems as though she’s trying to get the nervous host to relax.

Cheryl Cole met the press for her first media interviews since her marriage split today, but there was one topic strictly off limits – Mr Ashley Cole.

Local Danish journalists conducted interviews with Cheryl in Copenhagen this morning as she continued her push to promote her new album 3 Words in Europe.

But reporters were firmly instructed by her camp to keep questioning about her music and were informed her relationship woes must not to be mentioned.

March 3, 2010: Cheryl arrives in Copenhagen, Denmark and is greeted by fans and photographers as she makes her way through the airport. Cheryl took the time to sign autographs and take pictures with her fans. We haven’t seen Cheryl smile much these days, but something got her to burst out laughing once she got in the waiting car. Nice to see! She’s due to perform on the Danish version of The X Factor.

March 3, 2010: Cheryl is pictured making her way through Heathrow Airport in London en-route to Copenhagen, Denmark for the first of her European promotional duties since the split was announced. Cheryl is due to perform on the Danish X Factor. Looking stunning and stylish as always!

Cheryl Cole is preparing to fly to France to enter into talks with her estranged husband Ashley Cole, it has been claimed.

She is now believed to be set to make the journey to the South of France, where Cole is receiving treatment for an ankle injury.

And Cheryl has agreed to attend counseling sessions with her errant husband.
