Cheryl Cole has agreed to attend counseling sessions with husband Ashley.

Despite originally telling friends she was intent on divorcing Ashley, and then refusing to take his calls, Cheryl has had a change of heart.

The Daily Mail has learned that she has given in following a series of phone calls and text messages from the shamed Chelsea footballer, 29, pleading for another chance.

Cheryl Cole is excited about joining the Black Eyed Peas on the road. She will be the band on their UK arena tour in May and June.

Of the forthcoming performances – her first tour dates since she released solo album ‘3 Words’ – Cheryl said: “I saw Will.i.am the other day and he got me really excited about the tour.”

Cheryl added: “He really pumps me up. It’s just incredible, it still doesn’t feel quite real yet.”

Here’s Cheryl leaving a London production studio last night. She was pictured being driven away from Spring Studios in north London clutching a bottle of water. It was Cheryl’s first time back at work since the split was announced – she spent nine hours recording a new TV shampoo ad for L’Oreal.

It doesn’t look like Girls Aloud are getting back together anytime soon. Cheryl continues to be hugely successful as a solo artist and has now been confirmed to perform a set a this year’s V Festival.

This year’s V Festival will take place at Hylands Park in Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire over the weekend of August 21 to August 22. Tickets are on sale from this Friday March 5th.

Cheryl was pictured leaving her Surrey mansion yesterday. She’s understandably not looking too happy. Ashley was also seen yesterday and for the first time he wasn’t wearing his wedding ring. Cheryl is said to have told friends she wants nothing from him, expect the two dogs. According to recent reports she is trying to get a quickie divorce.

February 26, 2010: In her first outing since her separation from Ashley Cole was announced, Cheryl was seen leaving a Lady Gaga concert at The O2 in London last night. She looked tired as she got in her chauffeur driven car and headed back to her Surrey home.

Jonathan Ross has lined up Cheryl Cole (possibly Tweedy soon) to appear on his chat show on March 12- according to new reports.

It’s thought she was booked for the show before the recent scandals about her love life and the separation from husband Ashley Cole.

Cheryl will be keen to promote her music including new single Parachute. However she will most probably be asked about her private life by Ross.

It’s official – Cheryl is separating from husband of three-and-a-half-years Ashley Cole. Rumors have been flying around all week – will she or won’t she divorce him this time – but just a few hours ago today a separation was announced by Cheryl’s PR people Supersonic:

Earlier today Cheryl arrived back in London from Los Angeles. She was seen making her way through Heathrow airport. There was a mass amount of media surrounding her but she had security to escort her to the waiting car. Cheryl arrived back to an empty house – Ashley had left just hours before.
